In Ethiopia preventative measures similar to Canada’s have closed schools and government offices for a few weeks, and gathering sizes are being limited. With 700 students in Ethiopia relying on our program to provide a hot meal every day, and rising food scarcity making regular nutrition a challenge for their families, a rapid response to the new reality that COVID19 precautions and reactions has created is necessary to ensure they are receiving what they need to make it through the next few months.

Canadian Humanitarian is raising funds to be able to provide the urgently needed food, water, and hygiene kits for our students and their families.
